Mr. Allen was born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina, where he attended public schools before receiving his undergraduate degree from Anderson University. He then went on to earn his juris doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr. Allen resides in Anderson with his wife, the former Taylor McCabe of Columbia, and their son, Keller McCabe Allen.

Experience: During his time in law school, Mr. Allen served as a law clerk for the 5th Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Columbia, South Carolina. Mr. Allen then served one term as judicial law clerk to the Honorable R. Lawton McIntosh of the 10th Judicial Circuit. He then spent four (4) years as an assistant solicitor under Chrissy Adams in the 10th Circuit Solicitor’s Office. During his time as assistant solicitor, Mr. Allen prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases ranging from DUI to property offenses and more serious felonies such as drug trafficking and violent crimes.
